Prayer
Prayer affords a direct approach to God, who always draws near to those who draw near to him! People come together to pray regularly at Calvary. At 7am Mondays and Wednesdays people pray in the sanctuary. Also, at 6pm on the third Sunday of most months we focus on prayer.
Prayer is so vital to Calvary Assembly that it is woven into the fabric of our worship services. In addition, intercessors regularly pray for specific needs that are submitted in writing to the prayer box at the Welcome Center.
The altar ministry consists of teams of workers who provide prayer and the opportunity for individuals at the altar to receive personal ministry from the Lord. Those who serve at the altar realize that the effectiveness of their public ministry is directly related to having a healthy prayer
and devotional life at home.
